My Name's Eman and I am the Founder and President of H.E.A.R. For Them. Period poverty is one of the social justice issues that I have been most passionate about -- my work with this issue started way back in Junior High for a leadership project! Menstruation shouldn't be an obstacle in daily life, and I hope that through this group we can provide education and resources to those who need it.

My name's Becca, and my pronouns are She/Her. I am beyond grateful to be a part of the H.E.A.R. For Them team! My main roles here are event planning and local fundraiser coordinator. Some of the social issues I'm passionate about are climate justice, LGBTQIA2S+ rights, the BLM movement, and gender equality. My hobbies include photography and crocheting. My name's Sumeya Zakaria and I'm the secretary for H.E.A.R. For Them, I also have playing roles in social media and international research 'n outreach. I'm stoked to have joined this amazing team! I'm passionate about women's rights, awareness on sex trafficking, and Indigenous issues. On the side I love doing photography, cooking and watching anime. I also love meeting new people so don't be afraid to say hi!

My roles in the group are mainly within social media & international outreach and research. I'm passionate about climate justice, the BLM movement, the income gap, LGBTQIA+ rights, and accessible education for all. My hobbies include photography, traveling, reading and plants.

My name's Mielere [mil-air-ee] and I'm Sudanese and Ugandan. My prominent roles within H.E.A.R. For Them are in the realms of media and international research & outreach. In my free time I thoroughly enjoy ice-skating and acting. I'm also a 90s R&B enthusiast and post covers for songs along with my own music on my Soundcloud, mielere (yes, I had to do a lil self-promo) also.

I'm Olivia :) My primary roles within the team are being an event organizer and director of the team for the Calgary area. I'm a big supporter of gender equality, women's rights/safety, and helping those in need in general. In my free time, I enjoy doing art, crafts, and playing badminton. I'm also the executive of design for my school magazine.
